Kartik is an engineer-entrepreneur with interests in test & measurement, RF signal analysis, DF and localisation, optical fiber networks, lawful interception and cyber-security. After his masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, USA in 1987, he began his start-up initially to develop and manufacture electronic factory automation equipment, and subsequently to provide telecommunications instruments and tools for testing, monitoring and security. Kartik leads FASTECH by advising the team on strategy, technical and market direction, as well as partner relations.

Kartik is a fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) since 1992, taking a keen interest in furthering industry-academy relations.
